The Flock Box is Stubbs Farm’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program — a simple way to receive pasture-raised chicken throughout the spring while directly supporting a small, regenerative family farm here in Central Texas.
When you join, you’re not just buying chicken. You’re helping us raise birds humanely, care for the land, and plan responsibly for the season ahead.

- Reserve your share with a $5 per-share deposit
- Choose pickup or delivery
- Pickup is always free at our drop-off locations
- Local delivery available for a flat $7 per batch
- Pay per batch, or save 5% by paying for the full season upfront
Each share is processed fresh and picked up on scheduled batch dates.

How often do I receive chicken?
Every two weeks during the Spring 2026 season, for a total of six batches.
Do I have to commit to every batch?
That’s the goal of the CSA. Each share reserves your portion of the harvest each batch, helping us plan responsibly. If something comes up, just communicate with us — we handle things case by case.
Can I mix whole birds and cuts?
Yes. Our Family Flock and Rooster’s Choice shares are designed for flexibility. You can also email us with special requests, subject to availability.
How big are the chickens and cut packs?
- Whole chickens average 4.5–5.5 lbs each
- Cut packs are 1–1.25 lbs per pack
Is pickup required?
Pickup is free at designated locations. Local delivery is available for $7 per batch within roughly 15 miles of 78613.
Why is there a deposit?
The $5 per-share deposit holds your spot in the flock and helps us plan chick orders and feed ahead of the season.
