The Flock Box is Stubbs Farm’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program—a simple way to enjoy fresh, pasture-raised chicken raised right here in the Texas Hill Country. By signing up, you’re not only getting clean, nutritious food for your family, but you’re also directly supporting regenerative farming practices that improve soil health, animal welfare, and community well-being.
🌱 How It Works
We’ve designed our CSA to be simple and flexible:
- Pre-order your shares – Reserve your spot in the flock with a $5 per-share deposit.
- Choose pickup or delivery – Pickup is always free at our drop-off locations. Home delivery is available for a flat $7 per batch.
- Pay as you go (or all at once!) – On processing week, we’ll send an invoice for your order. Or, pay upfront for the whole spring season and save 5%!

💲 Pricing
Each share = 1 whole chicken + 1 cutup chicken (approx. 7–9 lbs total).
- $60 per share (per batch)
- $360 for full 6-batch spring season
- Save 5% when you pay for the whole spring season upfront → Only $342
That’s about 10–15% savings compared to buying à la carte!
🐓 Share Options
We know every family is different, so we’ve made The Flock Box flexible:
- Half Share – 1 chicken per batch (your choice: whole or cutup)
- Full Share – 1 whole + 1 cutup chicken per batch (approx. 7–9 lbs total)
- Family Share – Double up! 2 whole + 2 cutup chickens per batch (great for larger households or serious meal preppers)
💡 Want something specific? You can always email us to request custom cuts (like just wings, extra breasts, or separated tenderloins). We’ll do our best to make it happen, subject to availability.

- Pickup: Always free at our designated drop-off locations.
- Delivery: Available for a flat $7 per batch.
